Robbie Williams Performs Emotional Tribute for Victims of Manchester Attack

Robbie Williams is another star who has paid his respects for those affected by the terror attack in Manchester.

The singer broke down in tears at the Manchester Etihad concert which was just a few miles down the road from where the tragedy struck.

Nearly two weeks ago, 22 people were killed and many more were injured by suicide bomber Salman Abedi at Ariana Grande’s concert.

People have been massively affected by this with huge names and organisations coming together to raise money.

Robbie Williams started off his show defiantly declaring “We are Manchester and we are not f**king scared”.

But the star soon became too emotional during ‘Angels’ which he dedicated to the victims but the audience sang for him.

Many videos and pictures on social media show the singer with tears streaming down his face, singing alongside thousands of fans.

He also urged his fans to join him in a rendition of ‘Strong’, changing the lyrics to “Manchester we’re strong, we’re strong, we’re strong”.

The emotional scenes were posted online and you can hear the emotion in both Williams and the crowd.

Afterwards, the pop star shared a picture of the concert on Twitter showing a rainbow that had formed in the sky over the stadium.

He simply wrote “Manchester” with a heart emoji accompanying the message.

Robbie will reportedly reunite with former band Take That for the benefit concert, organised by singer Ariana Grande.

He is another star added to the growing list that already has Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Coldplay, Justin Bieber and more performing.
