Rumor has it that Christina Aguilera is seriously considering coming back to The Voice now that Adam Levine has exited the show. Will she get her old job back?

Adam Levine decided suddenly that it was time to move on from the singing competition after no less than 16 seasons and fans were shocked to hear the news.

So is it possible that Christina Aguilera will return?

As you may remember, she was a judge on The Voice in the first season, second, third, as well as seasons 8 and 10!

One source tells HollywoodLife that, in reality, it hasn’t even crossed the songstress’ mind to try and get her old gig back.

‘Christina Aguilera is not even thinking about The Voice now. Sh is really remaining focused on her residency in Las Vegas and some tour dates she has coming up. Christina missed performing on a regular basis and she is so excited to be giving her all into that.’

As for who will be filling in for Adam Levine on the singing show, it’s already been confirmed that it’s going to be yet another former judge – Gwen Stefani.

Obviously, her boyfriend of four years and co-worker, Blake Shelton is very excited to have her back.

Another insider dished to the news outlet that ‘Christina would consider going back to The Voice when and if it ever ends almost like how everyone came back to Idol when they thought that was over but she is not really interested in going back as she wants to work on her own music and work in her Vegas stint. They shouldn’t bother to ask her because she will say No.’
